箴23:13-14－－細路得生命的方法

箴23:13-14
「要認真管教兒童；責打不至於喪命，反而是救他生命。」（和合本）
「不可不管教孩童；你用杖打他，他必不至於死。你要用杖打他，就可以救他的靈魂免下陰間。」（現中修）

看完此句，令我想起箴22:6「教養孩童，使他走當行的道，就是到老他也不偏離。」

箴22:6的「教養孩童」英文就是「Train up a child」。在箴23:13的「管教」就是「discipline」（部份英文版本），其原文碼是04148，有管教、懲戒、糾正的意思。我只思想，我有盡此責任嗎？

原來，只要管教、懲戒、糾正，細路就得生命，不就是屬靈生活嗎？

責打，不會死之餘更有得屬靈生命，更不會下陰間；同樣，如不責任，只有放任及溺愛，只有死路一條。

和合本用「認真管教」和「責打」，好像將兩者對等。家長或準家長，一同思考吧！生命無take 2。教，一定從細開始。
