箴22:13

「懶惰人待在家裏；他說外頭有獅子等著要吞噬他。」（現中修）

「懶惰人說：外頭有獅子；我在街上就必被殺。」（和合本）

「懶惰人說：「唉呀﹗外頭有獅子哦！我在廣場上會被暗殺哦！」」（呂振中）

Net Bible在「獅子」旁有以下的註釋說明：The proverb humorously describes the sluggard as making ridiculous excuses for not working –
he might be eaten by a lion (e.g., 26:13). It is possible that “lion” is figurative, intended to represent someone who is like a lion, but this detracts from the humor of the exaggeration.

1. 懶惰人為了懶惰會說一堆藉口，藉口內容更是誇張多過一切。
2. 懶惰人的藉口為了達到目的，更可能會是不合情理的。

我們會是懶惰人嗎？我們有聽過身旁的人會如此嗎？

說話誇張的人未必是懶惰人；但懶惰人一定說話誇張。
